She had performed for my book launch party in Montreal back then and she truly caught my eye with her self-bondage act. Bonding yourself to yourself? I’ve found it so interesting and deep. . She would tie herself up with ropes on a Carla Bruni’s song “ l’Excessive” which gave a very poetic perspective to the act. Shibari is an art i’m eager to draw more often in the future. .
