Hi darlings !
You can't imagine how busy i am creating new pieces these days for my next book, and as i have to keep some exclusivity i have to hold on not showing too much to your eyes ! But this time i can show more :)

I chose L.Frank Baum's "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz", as this was part of my childhood and imagination, and what to say about the movie starring the lovely Judy Garland !
What if Dorothy never came back from Oz? Maybe she'd grown up and become a lady...so she needed new ruby shoes !
I loved drawing those characters, the Tin Woodman, the Scarecrow and the "king of the forrest" Lion, and of course, a grown-up Dorothy !
Maybe some specialists would have noticed the resemblance between the 40s hollywood actor William Powell and the Tin Man (or woodman), just a fantasy of my sick private-joking mind, as The "Thin Man" is the actor's most famous film...*wink*
Hope you'll like it and go see it at the exhibition, beginning on 6th july !
MAY 17th against homophobia
A little sketch to say there's nothing wrong in this. This is LOVE.
As many of you know already, homophobia is a touchy subject for me, as i am homosexual myself! Homophobia causes only negative things from bullying to killing.
Today i have a loving thought for my parents who love and accept me and my girlfriend as we are. Thank you Mum and Dad for this, you cannot imagine how i feel blessed to have you both. And i wish every gay, lesbian and transgender people feels the same about their parents and friends. This is so important.

This the current work, my tribute to Dorothy Lamour, one of my favorite actresses of the 40s. She's that mix between class and humor, absolutely lovely, she wears her name perfectly!

Drawing Live among burlesque women...what else!
Last week-end at The Montreal Burlesque Festival (produced by Scarlett James) i was sketching live with my lovely sexy model and friend Lavender May. Three such great nights!!!!

Faisons un Rêve, ensemble....
Ah, the scene of the anthology monologue of Sacha Guitry in "Faisons un Rêve" (1937)! A delight for the ear, an exercise in perfect diction, where poetry meets humor and puns. Enough to jgive me a mad desire to appropriate to the scene and a tribute to these two actors I admire, Sacha Guitry and Jacqueline Delubac!

Winter has begun folks! It's been snowing for the first time in Canada this week-end, and ...soon comes Christmas!! What a lovely time! Cream coloured poneys, crisp apple strudels ... ;) And all this stuff reminding of childhood ahh....I hope you have started searching the christmas presents! I did!

Skydoll Tribute
J'ai eu l'honneur d'être invitée par Barbara Canepa à participer à la grande exposition Skydoll Tribute pour les 10 ans de la bd (et la sortie du superbe bouquin Skydoll Decade!), et l'inauguration de la nouvelle Galerie Nana à Paris!
Il y aura beaucoup de beau monde: Enrico Casarosa, Claire Wendling, Guillaume Bianco, Ronnie Del Carmen, Bobby Chiu, Kei Acedera, Bill Presing, Tony Sandoval, Lostfish, Annette Marnat, Véronique Meignaud, Jérémie Almanza, Manu Arenas, Maya Mihindou, Mikael Bourgouin, Ingrid Liman, Zoe Lacchei, Lilidoll, Matteo De Longis, et encore bien d'autres!!
Voici mon hommage. J'ai choisi de dessiner mon interprétation du personnage d'Agape.
Le cadre a été chiné dans une brocante dans une charmante petite ville reculée du Québec dont toutes les maisons de bois semblent hantées ou presque, appelée "Lachute", le dessin est exécuté sur du papier Arches satiné, technique mixte.
Le vernissage c'est le samedi 13 novembre, et cela dure jusqu'au 24 décembre, alors courez-y!!

for a fabulous creator i adore: Vivienne Westwood. Only her name fires the imagination, evoking elegance and casualness, fairy and chimaera, creativity and insolence.
All the essence of the word “english” to me!
A Vivienne Westwood dress was sent to me so i could draw after it,
to design the new pin-up egery for the paper advertisement.
From London to Paris, from Paris to Montreal,
it was all adventure!
Her name is Alice (after Lewis Caroll’s), she got redhair, she’s Naughty,
she’s leaning on the enchanting perfume bottle...
Here’s for you today the new fragrance "Naughty Alice" by Vivienne Westwood,

Un dessin gourmand pour exprimer mon envie du moment! haha (je me suis inspirée d'une photo de show burlesque de malheureusement-je-ne-sais-plus-qui, dont j'ai tiré la pose et le corset accompagné de sa crinoline, et j'ai interprêté en lui faisant déguster le délicieux petit gâteau ;p mm)
Il faut ABSOLUMENT que je me remette aux fourneaux pour tester la recette de La Cuisine de Mercotte

Yiouu !! beaucoup de travail en ce moment, et comme toujours c'est surprise, je n'avais pas grand chose à poster ici...Mais....Ca faisait un petit moment que j'avais celle-ci dans mes tiroirs! et elle insistait pour faire votre connaissance, alors bon, je l'ai autorisée à venir minauder dans le petit boudoir rose! voici donc une petite "pin-up doodle" filmée rien que pour vous!
Yikes! so much work (suspense! ;)) these days, and i thought i had nothing to feed your eyes up here. I had this little one since a whiiiiile in my drawers and she wanted to show up! i let her come to meet you and simper a bit! sooo here's a filmed pin-up doodle just for you!!
