MAY 17th against homophobia

A little sketch to say there's nothing wrong in this. This is LOVE.

As many of you know already, homophobia is a touchy subject for me, as i am homosexual myself! Homophobia causes only negative things from bullying to killing. 

Today i have a loving thought for my parents who love and accept me and my girlfriend as we are. Thank you Mum and Dad for this, you cannot imagine how i feel blessed to have you both. And i wish every gay, lesbian and transgender people feels the same about their parents and friends. This is so important.

Exposition à Québec City!

 Cette dernière fin de semaine, j'ai eu la chance d'exposer au magnifique Capitole de Québec dans le cadre du Carnaval Burlesque ! Un grand merci aux organisateurs et aux artistes pour cette belle soirée burlesque et artistique, où poésie, humour et pasties règnaient en maîtres !

-Moi-même, arrivant émerveillée devant le rideau rouge !-

-"I love Wanda" la demoiselle tatouée, modèle: Lavender May-

-...avant que les portes s'ouvrent et laissent inonder de monde le hall du Capitole...Superbe cadre, non?-

-Le thème de la soirée étant le Sideshow à l'américaine, je n'ai pas résisté à partager la double-page de Circus Metamorphosis parue dans le Journal de Spirou en 2011 !-

I wanted to say thank you so much to my fans and followers who send me lovely messages about my work everyday, it touches me so deeply! Thank you thank you thank you!

Today, particular thanks to Jennifer Pernoud from facebook for the pictures she took in London: i can see my Naughty Alice (advertising i worked on for Vivienne Westwood Fragrances campain) took a londonian taxi! Vavoom!! How AMA-ZING is that !!!!!!

This the current work, my tribute to Dorothy Lamour, one of my favorite actresses of the 40s. She's that mix between class and humor, absolutely lovely, she wears her name perfectly!

Un artbook de 128 pages dédiées à mon univers glamour retro et aux pin-ups, 128 pages de pur plaisir à dessiner ! Et j'espère de tout coeur qu'il fera le vôtre aussi ...

La sortie est annoncée pour l'Hiver 2013 ! de quoi se réchauffer ou faire un cadeau de noël (ou les deux!)...

Oh! et puis tant que je vous tiens, vous savez qu'en plus de mes illustrations, il y aura même des histoires! Eh oui, pour se plonger encore plus à corps perdu dans cet univers de vamps, de housewives dévouées, de girl-next-door et de veuves noires...Elles seront écrites par le talentueux scénariste Jean-Christophe Deveney! Et ce n'est pas tout! il y aura....Non non, chut, il ne faut pas que j'en dise pas trop, je préfère vous réserver plein de surprises alors... à bientôt pour de petits aperçus des illustrations! ;)

i have the pleasure and delight to officially announce that my contract with the french editor Soleil Publication (in Barbara Canepa and Clotilde Vu's Metamorphose Collect) is now *drumroll*............ SIGNED!!!! Hurray!!!!!!!

Coming out for winter 2013, to warm up the homes...!!!

Faisons un Rêve, ensemble....

Ah, la scène anthologique du monologue de Sacha Guitry dans "Faisons un Rêve"(1937) ! Un ravissement pour l'oreille, un exercice de diction parfait, où la poésie rencontre l'humour et les jeux de mots. De quoi me donner une envie folle de m'approprier la scène et de faire un hommage à ces deux acteurs que j'admire, Sacha Guitry et Jacqueline Delubac !

Ah, the scene of the anthology monologue of Sacha Guitry in "Faisons un Rêve" (1937)! A delight for the ear, an exercise in perfect diction, where poetry meets humor and puns. Enough to jgive me a mad desire to appropriate to the scene and a tribute to these two actors I admire, Sacha Guitry and Jacqueline Delubac!
